I had such a great time during my stay! The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the station, which made exploring easy. The host was so cute and checked in on me often, which made it feel extra personal. I also loved the spacious room; it was perfect for a solo traveler like me, but could comfortably fit a couple too!
On the downside, the walls were a bit thin, so I could hear other guests, especially when the bathroom was in use. be prepared for quite a few stairs since it's an older building. Lastly, the front door closes at 11 PM, which might be a hassle for late-night adventures.

I had the japanese-style room which was brand-new and neat with tatami mats. All of the staff were excellent, sincere. The location was particularly good, in the bay area, better than I ever had before now.

Really unforgettable stay, as always. A handy base for overnight stay. Best possible and strategic location close to Aomori Port. Positioned in the secure area, right by the railway station and tourist attraction and A factory. Very amiable and sincere staff, easy check in. Savoury breakfast with a wide array of great foods.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

I recently stayed for three nights at a lovely inn during my solo trip, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the train station and several cultural attractions. The spacious single room with tatami mats was a good touch, and the cozy futon made for restful nights. The host was welcoming, providing helpful local recommendations and ensuring hot water was always available. The homely atmosphere made me feel at ease.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Iroha Ryokan were so cozy and homely. I loved sleeping on the tatami floors with the comfy Japanese futon bedding. It made me feel like I was truly experiencing authentic Japanese culture.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom fitted with a hot tub to be a bit inconvenient. But hey, I understand that some people might enjoy the communal aspect of it.

The traditional Japanese rooms were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for all of us. The kids especially loved sleeping on the futons and feeling like they were in their own little adventure. The proximity to the station was incredibly convenient, yet the atmosphere of the ryokan was peaceful and tranquil. The owners were incredibly kind and friendly, and they made our stay feel like a home away from home. The breakfast brought up to our room was a wonderful touch, and it allowed us to start our day off on the right foot. a truly amazing experience for the whole family!
In my wife's opinion, she wished that the WiFi was better.

The spacious and comfortable room provided more than enough space for our large family. The location was perfect, just a short walk from JR Aomori Station and surrounded by shops and restaurants in the city center. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, even warning us about expensive restaurants to avoid. We felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay.
In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if there were more shared bathrooms or toilets available, especially with our large family.

This ryokan is conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to access. It offers spacious rooms that are equipped with comfortable futons and a table. The staff is friendly and helpful, even though their English may be limited. The shared bathing and toilet facilities are kept clean and well-maintained. Additionally, guests can enjoy a delicious seafood sashimi breakfast at the nearby morning market for a reasonable price.
One drawback is that the building itself appears outdated and has a lingering food smell in the rooms.

We had a lovely short stay before our flight. The staff was incredibly polite and friendly, helping us with directions and even assisting with our luggage. Despite our limited Japanese, they were able to communicate with us in English and had signage in multiple languages. The room was clean and spacious, with nice accent decorations. It was conveniently located near the station and attractions like the Nebuta Wa-rasse museum. We were also grateful that we could leave our luggage after check-out. a really nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend it!
